The rules and laws governing the use of weapons, pyrotechnics and special effects vary greatly from location to location. Do not assume that because it is allowed in your home facility, that it can be used in others. Even things as innocuous as cigarettes and candles can be a problem. Weapons are especially problematic, with real guns (even if not fired) often presenting special difficulties.
